Cloth Distribution by Social Welfare Association

                 On 6th Nov.,2010 the students visited ' Udiya Basti',Bathinda.

Students distributed cloths among the poor and needy people of 'Udiya

 Community'. Dr. Prabhjot Kaur, Principal praised the students for their

 leading step ofharity and inspired the students to donate the things which

 are not in use and can be used by the needy

Micro Teaching Practice

The micro Teaching started on 25 Oct and held till 2nd Nov., 2010.

 The skills taught and performed were introductory skill, skill of

Explanation,skill of reinforcement, skill of BB Writing, skill of Stimulus

 variation, skill of Teaching Aid and skill of Questioning

Communication Skills

A one day workshop "Communication Skill" was held on

14th Oct, 2010. The trainers were Ms. Yogesh Bajaj and

Ms. Rajinder Kaur from the training and placement department

of Baba Farid Group of Institutions. The students were trained

 regarding the basics of speaking skills. The students were shown

 few video`s for listening skill.

Social Welfare Camp

A camp was organised by Social welfare Association, BFCE on

 14th oct,2010 to GSS School in village `Chugne Kalan’.Every

student got the opportunity to feel the Nature closely as

the Govt. Senior Secondary School; Chugne Kalan is situated

 in the Lap of Nature. The Principal Flagged out the team and

 motivated the students to do such type of activities. Activities

 performed by the students were tree plantation, white washing

 the trees and boundary, levelling the ground and sewing the ground.

Lecture by Dr. Jasbir Singh Hundal

In the series of (Weekly) Moral Lecture on 6 Oct., 2010 Dr.Jasbir

Singh Hundal, Director Principal, BFCET said that teachers are

 also students. He threw light on the ethical values of teaching

profession quoting examples from daily life. He said that teachers

 should be conscious of their efforts, acts & deed. They should

 do their job honestly and with responsibility as they are the

 Nation builders.

ALUMNI MEET

An alumni meet `Renaissance’ was organized of the session  2008-09 on Oct.2.This was a moment of pride & happiness for the Management, Principal & Faculty that one`s the students of this college  are now working as successful lecturers and teachers. Dr. Prabhjot Kaur,  Principal said that the alumnis` are the grand ambassadors of the institutions and a very vibrant relationship must be established and nurtured with them.

Lecture by S. Avtar Singh

In the series of (Weekly) Moral Lecture. On 29 sep., 2010 S. Avtar

 Singh, Head, Dept. of Social welfare Association shared his experiences

 as a social worker. He said that man is ignoring some aspects which

 appear to be nothing but have great value in life.
